The symposium will bring together the world’s leading scientists, experts, practitioners and students in biological monitoring to discuss and share state-of-the-art knowledge on biomarkers of exposure, effect and susceptibility to occupational and environmental agents. ISBM-11 aims to present new research and methods on biomarkers and to promote the use of biomonitoring data as part of a prevention strategy in workplaces and the general environment and, therefore, it will also be of interest to professionals involved in risk assessment, regulation and control through the use and interpretation of human biomonitoring data.
As for previous symposia, traditionally held in between two main ICOH congresses, ISBM-11 will be a opportunity to share global state-of-the-art research concerning the use of biomonitoring in exposure and human health assessment.
